  • I really love puffy nipples on girls.
  • Facebook

So I met this really hot girl and a couple of their friends. They gave me their names on Facebook and so far only one of them has approved. I'm still hoping that the pretty one really adds me, but damn it's so annoying when someone gives you their Facebook name and they don't approve you. It hasn't been that long yet, so I'm still hoping she'll add me. It would be so lame if she doesn't. It seemed like we were getting along really well too... I really hate that. Oh well, at least there are a couple of other girls I really like a lot. One is really pretty and it's always nice talking to her, and the other one is pretty too, but I'm shallow and she's kind of fat. But we've known each other for a while but only recently got to really hang out, and she's really cool to hang out with, which I haven't really gotten to do much of with the other girl. Her personality is a bit more uplifting too. I guess she'd be my first choice.. if the Facebook girl adds me, then she'd probably be someone I'd like too. I sometimes feel that if I got with the chubby girl, I'd feel like I'm settling a little. I hate doing that.. but sometimes I feel that I really like her too. Same with the pretty non-Facebook girl.

  • You have 3 wishes. What are they?

So let's say that I have the power to grant you three wishes. What are they? Assume that I won't be tricky and twist your wish around cause of your wording, and do that wishing for more wishes stuff.
  • Christmas time! Wooo!

So Christmas(or whatever holiday you celebrate) time is fast approaching and some of you have probably already got some holiday shopping done. As commercialized as this holiday is, do you still feel the "Christmas spirit," or is it just a commercial holiday to you? Do you just get gifts for others because that's what everyone else is doing? I'm not saying that's necessarily wrong, but as for me I really enjoy the season's festivities. I really like doing all the cliche things and going around town seeing all the Christmas decorations that are going up, and looking at the lights on all the houses. I think all that stuff is great! I know it's not like that for a lot of people, and I know there are some who really hate this time of year. The way I look at it though is kind of like getting to see a close friend once a year. You grow up with them and can't wait to hang out with them, but you have to wait for that time where they can come around. So I guess it all depends on how much you like the friend.
Anyway, I'm really glad it's the holidays and I hope the state of the economy doesn't dampen too many spirits. I'm sure there have been many Christmases over the years that have been tough on people, such as Christmases during war time. I hope this Christmas, or future Christmases for that matter won't be so tough. As bad as the economy is, I probably won't do as much holiday shopping as usual. I didn't go to any of the Black Friday sales, of which there weren't many good ones anyway, and I'll probably get cheaper gifts for people this year too.
Despite having to spend less money this year, I'm still glad there are tons of traditions that don't require a lot of money, or even no money at all. Maybe it's really those kinds of things are what make for a happy holiday season?
As much as a symbol of commercialization that it is, I really enjoy going to the mall this time of year. I don't even buy anything sometimes, but I love how much work they put into decoration the place. I mean come on, they even get a guy in a Santa costume by a gigantic Christmas display. It's just nice to see that sometimes. I also love going to neighborhoods where they have lighting contests where every house is decorated like Tim Taylor did the decorating. (You have to watch Home Improvement). I guess going through those neighborhoods with my parents would be a tradition I really like doing every year.
Well I hope everyone has a happy holiday season, and may Santa bring you nice things :) So what do you like to do this time of year? What would would make this Christmas complete for you? Is there anything/anyone you really want?

  • holidays in southern california

Living in Southern California is great. You get the beaches, lots of places to socialize, the entertainment industry, great places to shop, pretty much anything you could ask for. But, one thing that really sucks about living here is that you really don't get seasons. What you really get most of the year is the equivalent of summer and spring, with maybe a few spots of rain and cold somewhere in between. You virtually never get snow, unless you go to the mountains, and you don't get frozen lakes either so you can't do things like play hockey or go ice skating. I guess that's just the price you pay for mostly decent weather for most of the year.
For me the worst part has to be when it's time for the holidays and it's still 80 degrees outside. When I think of the holidays I think of cold weather and people starting to wear their jackets out, and maybe some rain. It's that little change in the atmosphere that says it's the holidays. I guess it's just that much harder for me to get into the holiday spirit when it still feels like summertime and you're still wearing shorts outside by time you're ready to carve a turkey.
Living in California is great, but I come from a place that has the traditional four seasons and you'd know instantly which season it was just by walking around outside. I guess I can't complain about living in SoCal, but it would just be nice if we got all four seasons for a change. I think there's a lot of things people miss out on when you don't get the full range of seasons. You know- trees changing colors, snow, the spring thaw.. There are just so many things that are appropriate for cold weather that you can't really do in the summer. Things like building a fire in the fireplace, drinking hot cocoa, snowball fights, etc..
So, I guess the Holidays are upon us, even though it doesn't feel that way all the time.
